since it's labor day, i have my first day off in a long time. i officially moved (or started sleeping here) to my *new* apartment in astoria. it's definitely CAMPING. for most of the weekend i only had my aerobed and a pile of clothes. it's slowly getting better, thanks to a trip to ikea with ange. my parents are coming on sunday with a bunch of furniture and my tv and everything.

my computer freaked out and wouldn't let me on the internet until this morning. inexplicable. so all i had to connect with the outside world was my clock radio. i've been listening to air america a lot, but since i'm a news junkie, i've been starved for information about everything.

and now i see that rehnquist died. can we expect chief justice scalia?
